Davies Battersby was founded in 1994 by Guy Davies and Patrick Battersby and we have over 30 years of legal excellence in international trade, commodities and commercial dispute resolution.

Our main area of expertise are in international trade/maritime law, soft commodities and commercial disputes.

We are skilled in arresting ships, dealing with cargo claims and achieving prompt commercial resolutions and complex multi jurisdictional problems including by mediation.

We also handle major claims in the Commercial Court, and have had some notable successes including winning an arbitration appeal in the High Court, taking a matter to the Court of Appeal and obtaining worldwide freezing injunctions and other forms of ancillary relief.
